Grey Headed Bush Shrike Vs Boomslang

Whilst driving slowly along one of the loop dirt roads in the Kruger National Park, being kept thoroughly amused by a Yellow Billed Hornbill that was hopping from spot to spot as it was picking up lil stones & posing for the camera, and giving us wierd looks! As we came around the corner,we noticed a bright flash of green & orange and a commotion going on ahead of us, only to discover that we had just ended up being in the right place at the time!
As we glanced up at this tree, trying to see what the hell the commotion was all about,we watched in amazement as we realised that a grey-headed bush-shrike was actually taking on a snake and attacking it to death - Literally.
Totally confused as to what snake this was,it was besides the point, but seeing this was INCREDIBLE!

So enjoy this Grey headed Bush Shrike Attacking a Boomsalng.
